Being an easy-to-use utility, The Drivers Update Tool is a great alternative to manual installation, which has been recognized by many computer experts and computer magazines.

The utility will automatically determine the right driver for your system as well as download and install the Acer K272HUL :componentName driver. Please review Outbyte EULA and app.privacyĬlick “Download Now” to get the Drivers Update Tool that comes with the Acer K272HUL :componentName driver. It's super easy to get this thing to 75Hz, and at 1440p, it really does look great.See more information about Outbyte and unistall instrustions. I would highly recommend this to anyone on a budget who wants to get both a higher resolution and a higher refresh rate. The panel is insanely bright out of the box, so I ended up bringing the brightness down to 10 and disabling some of the built-in features to get a better picture. For the money, this thing is excellent and I wish I bought two more at the same time. Overall Review: I got this for $179 after a coupon code. This is pretty common though and isn't really noticeable. I just created a custom resolution using the Radeon Settings utility.Ĭons: The physical bezel is thin, but there's a 1/4" border around the entire perimeter of the screen. VESA mounting was simple and there's nothing that would interfere with the holes.įor one of the cheapest 1440p monitors available on Newegg, the image quality is great, even at awkward angles.īonus: I was able to get 73Hz out of this using HDMI, or 75Hz using DisplayPort. The display has HDMI, DVI, and DisplayPort connections, with a normal power plug, so no weird specialty two-prong connectors, and no weird power bricks under your desk. Pros: This monitor has a super thin bezel and is pretty lightweight. We shall see if my opinion stands the tests of time! Time will tell, but so far nothing that warrants me dropping an egg. Even though it is big and beautiful with a nice slim bezel, It is as basic as monitor designs come.

Of course the speakers suck, but how many of us are REALLY relying on them to be anything but?Īlso if you are big into fancy aesthetics you will be disappointed, but that is clear from the screenshots. Even at that I have to really look for it to be very noticeable. I would say at the retail price of $300 the value is still there, but if you need a new monitor and see this on sale: GRAB IT!Ĭons: I had seen this on a review when I was reading them myself, but the matte finish does have a little of a mottled effect, but I can only see it staring at an all white background, like right now writing this. Also comes with everything you need: displayport cable, DVI, and even an aux cord if you want to use the speakers with the DVI. This definitely represents a great leap from 2012 to 2018 for me. It had started to work again while waiting for this one to come, so I started to second guess the purchase.until I hooked it up and WOW.

Replacing a 6 year old 1080P Asus 24" with weird backlighting issues.

Pros: Very inexpensive for a 27" 2K monitor, purchased on sale for $180.

I never understand the other reviewers dinging them - what do you expect from a monitor? BUY SPEAKERS. Yes, the speakers are terrible, but they are there in a pinch if you need them. Overall Review: - I would love to recommend this product to others, but this single issue is making it darn near unusable for me. Wishing I had splurged another $50 and gotten something one step above.

I'm hoping there is some setting I'm missing or something, but it's hooked up to a new computer build and Windows 10, and I've been through the Windows 10 display settings and the OSD settings without success. I know so little about display technology that I'm not sure if this is related to response time, refresh rate, or something else. I think it's called "ghosting?" Every webpage or document I scroll through is completely distracting - behind every word of text is a white "ghost" that remains for quite a long time - maybe a quarter or half a second. Cons: I'm usually prepared to accept what I pay for, but in this case I may have to buy another monitor.
